Integrative Strategic Value Management System (ISVMS) |
With over 34 years of theory innovation and more than 30 years of practice of management accounting techniques such as AVM, BSC, SWOT-Scorecard and SIC, Professor Anne Wu concluded that only by integrating all management accounting techniques can one bring the greatest benefits to enterprises’ overall performance. Thus, Prof. Wu developed the Integrative Strategic Value Management System (ISVMS) basing on her rich academic and practical experiences. The system includes strategic formation system, strategic implementation system, value chain system, activity value management system and strategic value creation system.
With meticulous design, human brain is capable of strategic thinking and able to consume big data for decision making. As for business management, the “brain” of an organization is the strategic formation system, without it, enterprises won’t be able to head in the right direction. With the help of SWOT Scorecard and SO Scorecard, enterprises are able to form its innovative strategy as well as new business model and BSC will then assist in strategy implementation. But how does strategy execution further connect with other management systems? Prof. Wu brings up the idea to use “Activity” as the cell that connects various activity management systems such as TQM, 6σ, ERP, BPR, ISO9000 and MES, also acts as the foundation of AVM. After the combination of activity management system and AVM, it can provide all the needed information for KPI (Key Performance Index). Furthermore, the combination of BSC ans SIC enables enterprises to solve problems such as weights and measures, management, reporting, evaluation and valuation etc. iSVMS will be an integrated management system for enterprises.
